This project consists of mechanical, structural, electrical, and HVAC improvements to the East Blower Room located within the Alvarado Wastewater Treatment Plant and will provide increased blower capacity and aeration system reliability.
Components include a new high-speed aeration air blower, a blower discharge manifold, isolation valves, piping, appurtenances, and a Master Control Panel. Improvements also include structural modifications and repairs to the East Blower Room roof and walls, replacement of the roof membrane, and the addition of new motor control center (MCC) sections and feeder circuit breakers for the power supply to the new aeration blower. The new MCC sections will be connected to an existing MCC and a combination motor starter plug-in compartment will be replaced.
