Spyglass Storm Drain Improvements

This project included the replacement of over 900 LF of 12-inch to 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) storm drain with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) utilizing an open cut construction method and the rehabilitation of 145 LF of 36-inch RCP storm drain utilizing a Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining trenchless method. It also includes the installation of a manhole, storm drain junction structure, and site restoration in a neighborhood.

Located within an established neighborhood with steep terrain and along a high traffic roadway, the project required extensive public outreach and traffic control. The the pipeline is located within a corridor with shared buried utilities (water, sewer, and communication) requiring coordination with multiple agencies and utility companies.
